II. The Power of Intention: Purpose Energized by Action

How does anything get created and manifest in the material world humans live in? The very first step is mysterious. It’s that first inkling that something is possible. Should I really kayak this river? Should I start a new business? Should I write a book?

The Friends call it a leading. Other might call it a vision. It might be a dream or just a hunch. But something in our consciousness wakes up to a possibility. Arthur M. Young linked this impulse to light itself, or first cause. A little bit of potential he called it. If you need a story about it, you might assume this spark comes from the greater cosmic unity, the toroidal, reflexive universe or whatever else you want to call it. Perhaps it is the divine itself, ineffable.
